21 August 2019 – Sydney

Our second national workshop brings together members from across Australia for a day of discussion and planning to support and accelerate the adoption of AI-enabled healthcare in Australia. Like our first workshop in 2018, it will be a highly interactive day with presentations and discussions at Flagship and Program levels followed by discussion within States to identify the impact at a local level. At the end of the day, we’ll have clear high-level national directions and common goals for the Alliance.
Our members come from national and international academia, government, consumer, clinical and industry organisations with a mission to translate frontier artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into real-world health services.
While the AI Alliance is not yet formally funded, current members provide support through in-kind or cash contributions, access to data, systems and platforms, tools, software, engineering time, technical support, clinical expertise, access to national and global networks and facilities to trial technologies, attendance at workshops and on working groups.
This is a members-only event and we’re keen to hear from you if you’d like to be part of the journey to transform the Australian healthcare system. Contact jenny.waldie@mq.edu.au to discuss your involvement in more detail.
