Earlier this year we flagged a key priority for the Australian Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Australia (AAAiH) was to develop a national AI Roadmap for Healthcare. After consulting with the Alliance Leadership Team and Working Groups, we’ve identified eight key priority goals and developed a national survey for wider consultation.
We are now your seeking feedback on these priorities. By responding to our national survey, you’ll also be able to share your thoughts and suggest additional priorities and themes you feel are important.
About the survey
The survey results will influence the development of a national AI Healthcare Roadmap to guide the implementation of AI in healthcare in Australia in a way that is scalable, sustainable, and that has clear positive impacts on clinical and economic outcomes for the nation. All responses are confidential and individual data won’t be able to be identified unless you wish it to.
About the AI in Healthcare Roadmap
The AI in Healthcare Roadmap will identify critical gaps in Australia’s capability to translate AI into effective and safe clinical services, including implementation, regulation, and cybersecurity and will provide guidance on how to close the gaps. It will also acknowledge the extensive work that has already been undertaken nationally in this space and aims to build on this work. We anticipate that this Roadmap will be launched in later in 2021.
Who can respond
We invite all individuals and organisations that consider they have an interest in the implementation of AI in healthcare in Australia to participate, including: Industry, technology providers and Industry associations, Healthcare providers, Academia, Education and training providers, Government, National boards, Peak bodies (including consumer groups), and other organisations (including digital health, industry, consulting).
Ideally, the respondent should be a person in their organisation who has senior oversight of AI in healthcare and can provide an organisational view, but we welcome views from individuals that have a stake in Australia’s AI driven healthcare system
