Industry Advisory Group

The Industry Advisory Group (IAG) identifies opportunities for collaboration with industry in Australia and internationally. It provides a conduit for industry partners to explore commercialisation opportunities arising from research conducted by AAAiH, as well as support the creation of start-up companies.

Peter is a health industry expert focused on researching digital transformation opportunities in healthcare and helping customer strategic initiatives through digital design processes.

John brings expertise as an Intensive Care Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry from community practice to government. He is also experienced in developing digital health solutions and service and solution design based on human factors and ergonomics bridging the gap between clinical medicine and computer science.

The group engages with members across the AAAiH through the State Working Groups and the four Programs to provide unique insights to shape the development and integration of artificial intelligence into the healthcare system. The group is currently developing a draft Industry Code of Practice for members implementing AI in healthcare and which we anticipate may be used as a broad guide for industry generally.
