We are seeking your views about what it will take to support Australian health services to safely and effectively adopt AI.
The AAAiH released its first AI in Healthcare Roadmap in 2021 after extensive community consultation covering 180 stakeholder organisations. During 2023, in the face of rapid technological advances, the AAAiH developed a second Roadmap focusing on national policy for AI in healthcare. Roadmap 2 has since had a significant influence both at State and Federal level.
We are now developing Roadmap 3, considering key national policy recommendations to support safe, scalable and effective AI implementation across healthcare.
As the initial community consultation process starts, we are today sending out a survey seeking feedback from stakeholders across the healthcare sector in Australia on potential priorities and actions that will enhance AI adoption nationally.
Ideally, the respondent should be a person within your organisation who has senior oversight of AI in healthcare and can provide an organisational view, but we welcome views from individuals who have a stake in Australia’s AI driven healthcare system.
Completing the survey should take 15 minutes and, as with previous consultations, your input will help shape the national AI agenda.
